Upload filesize

Hi All,

I want to upload a file of size 4M.But its not allowing me to upload this file although the size limit in the php.ini file is 6M.

Earlier the upload_max_filesize entry had a value of 2M.
I have changed the following values:

upload_max_filesize = 6M
post_max_size = 8M
memory_limit = 128M
max_execution_time = 80

After making the changes,I have restarted the apache server too.but still the file does not get uploaded.

And ".htaccess" is not present in my server.

Anyone having idea please help me...

Did you try a very small file to make sure that your upload tool works and your permissions are right?
Did you try another web browser? Some browsers (especially older ones) have a cap on POST size.

I have tried uploading small files and the files are uploaded successfully.

Have tried it in firefox and IE but the same result is seen.

Tried the same scenario again..
But this time have also mentioned the "name=MAX_FILE_SIZE" in the php file containing the form.

Now,on the browser it shows that the uploading is taking place but after a long time,the screen goes blank.

I launch the page again and find out to see only half of the files have been uploaded.
The filesize is 3010KB.

How can i resolve this issue.

could someone please give a solution asap,coz i m stuck in this...

try setting max execution to 300 seconds

Doesn't help... After showing uploading for a long time.
it errors out showing 500 Server error...However,some files have been uploaded..
