[RESOLVED] Mysql query help

Hello,

In mysql i have 2 tables named counties and cities like this:

counties ( county_id, county_name)
1, county1
2, county2
3, county3
4, county5

cities(city_id, rel_id_county, city_name)
1, 2, cityA,
2, 4, cityB
3, 1, cityC
4, 3, cityD

I need help constructin a query that will return the county based on the city_id.
For example : city_id is 3, that means that the county_name is county1.

I used: SELECT county_name FROM counties LEFT JOIN cities ON (counties.county_id=cities.rel_id_county) WHERE cities.city_id=3
