i am stumped with this.. here is the scenerio..
I have IPs 2.3.4.5 - 2.3.4.9 attached to server 1. They are public live internet IPs.
I have removed those IPs and bound them to server 2.
I have created a gre tunnel between the two machines.
I can successfully ping the IPs from server 1 which were bound to server 2. The tunnel is clearly established. But, I can no longer ping the IPs from an outside computer. I know its possible and I have achieved this before. I think I am missing a routing instruction.
Anyone out there understand linux ip routing at this level?
