Displaying the 6 latest images from a MySql db?

Hi

I've looked over at hotscripts.com and elsewhere but the code I'm after is much simpler than the stuff there.

I've been away from PHP for so long that I'm having to relearn it!!

Can anyone provide code for Accessing MySql and pulling off the last six images from a table?

This is taking some getting back in to...my head hurts.

Is there an AUTO_INCREMENT column in the table? If so, it sounds like you want a simple query like so:

SELECT image FROM myTable ORDER BY id DESC LIMIT 6
