[RESOLVED] magic_quotes off, but get \'

I have an application running on two different servers and both have magic quotes turned off, yet in one a "\" is inserted for a " ' " and on the other it is not.

Both are running under Apache and both are using MySQL. What else should I check?

I used get_magic_quotes_runtime() to verify that they are truely off.

Check with get_magic_quotes_gpc(), since magic_quotes_gpc is more likely to be turned on.

Thank you! That told me that the client's shared server did have magic_quotes on, so I put a php.ini in the scripts directory to turn it off...
