preg_replace help

I wish to remove some numerals enclosed in square brackets in a string.

eg. Welcome to phpBuilder [34/56]

This is the usual form however the numerals will change with the string. I want to remove the numerals, slash & both brackets.
Please help me. thanks in advance.

You could use '#[\d+/\d+]#' as your pattern to be replaced.
