In sql you can use the 'LIKE' comparison - such as:
select * from CONTACTS where First LIKE '%sam%'
Q: But how do you do this with just PHP when you are trying to compare 2 string variables?
... something such as : $a LIKE $b ???
BTW: I don't see anything such as 'LIKE' listed below...
