Hello there,
Recently I began building a website which I intend users to share content on it. The problem is that I don't have any rock-solid PHP coding skills and therefore can't generate secure scripts that I know will get the job done. That's when I turned to CMS as it seemed quite promising. However, there is a HUGE down-side. I had already laid out and designed the website, all I needed was the PHP to make the content come, "alive." Well, when I tried out Joomla and E107 I learned that I'm supposed to use the CMS to build my website and that there was no way to integrate their CMS services into my already designed website.
So, my question is in regards to two things. Firstly, do you know of a CMS that is easily integrated into an already-designed website? Then secondly, if I were to attempt to generate my own scripts to do essentially what the CMS was designed to do, how much work am I looking at?
I really want to get this website launched soon, however I don't want to fry my brain/bust my fingertips in the process. After all, looking at basic authentication scripts got me turned around.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
