I just started to use Linux Ubuntu server 8.10 on a local machine. I'm a Microsoft windows user and I have no any background about Linux. I don't want to start with GUI Linux such as Ubuntu desktop, but I prefer to start from command line, to keep computer's performance at maximum conditions.
In fact, I need starting resources or one free tutorial discuss from basics of Linux to advanced topics. I need something explains differences between Linux and Windows.
If there is something related directly to Ubuntu server, I think, it will be better.
