i am making a rpg game :eek: and its working out to be hard
i have made the bassic site regster page login page members page
but now im stuck
when the user battles a trainer i want them to go up a lvl
i have made a table with all the users in and made a userid and user lvl
in side this 1 table
so i wanna try and make it so when they battle a trainer they go up a lvl i have made this so far
SELECT user_level FROM user WHERE user_id=useridhere
new_user_level = (userlevel + 1)
INSERT INTO user (user_level) VALUES (new_user_level)
was just woundering how that would work i have got a cookie on the site to get the users id
im a bit of a newbie lol
