By hook and crook, I've managed to get APD installed on my Mac OSX machine and it appears to be writing the trace file:
caller=/Users/sneakyimp/Desktop/protocol_test/test.php
END_HEADER
! 1 /Users/sneakyimp/Desktop/protocol_test/test.php
& 1 main 2
+ 1 1 3
& 2 apd_set_pprof_trace 2
+ 2 1 3
@ 0 3 993 670 13668
- 2
& 4 define 1
+ 4 1 5
@ 1 5 56 7 64
- 4
+ 4 1 7
@ 1 7 28 21 48
- 4
! 3 /Users/sneakyimp/Desktop/protocol_test/Serializer_PHP.php
& 5 require_once 2
+ 5 3 11
HOWEVER, I've tried to follow the directions for APD on looking at these files and I get an error:
My-Mac:apd sneakyimp$ pprofp -R pprof.21054.0
-bash: pprofp: command not found
What is this file format? Is there a windows-friendly or OsX-friendly application to parse them into something readable?
