MySql returns empty_rows ...

I have a really big problem and can't get the solution in the forums I visited.

CREATE TABLE price(
id INT( 3 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0',
fig_id INT( 3 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0',
dim_id INT( 3 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0',
dim VARCHAR( 20 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0',
fig INT( 3 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0',
price DECIMAL( 10, 2 ) DEFAULT '0.00',
KEY price_idx ( fig , dim ) ,
PRIMARY KEY ( id )
) ENGINE = MYISAM ;# MySQL returned an empty result set (i.e. zero rows).

'dim' (size) and 'fig' (qty) are independant variables in 2 dropdown lists whose the values determine the value of the dependent variable 'price'.

The problem is that I can't test the program because the aabove error.

Some help, please.

that's valid create table code. the error has nothing to do with creating tables.

Besides the "empty rows" issue, I have another problem:
'dim' and 'fig' are 2 dropdown lists which value determine a given price.
Ajax/MySql/PhP/ are used for this purpose. (see details in attachment).

By clicking on "Submit" we have a "not available" result instead of the hoped price.

I don't see really what is really wrong.

Firstly, I think that the "empty_row" was responsible of this situation.

There is no "empty rows" issue. You issue a CREATE TABLE, and MySQL responds with an empty result set. Where's the issue? How many rows should a newly created, empty table have?
Your SQL statement:
```
$qresult = mysql_query("SELECT {$fieldname} FROM price WHERE fig='{$num}'");  
```
doesn't make sense. $fieldname (taken from a POST'ed variable) takes on values such as field1, field2, etc., and yet there are no columns in your table named field1 or field2.
Your SQL query is also vulnerable to SQL injection attacks. User-supplied data should never be placed directly into SQL queries. Instead, it must first be sanitized with a function such as [man]mysql_real_escape_string/man
Why on earth did you attach all of this code in a M$ Word document? Surely you're not using Word to edit PHP/JavaScript/HTML files...?! Just post the relevant bits of code, remembering to use the appropriate bbcode tags (such as [noparse]
[/noparse]).
