IMAP Error

How can I fix this?

$mailbox = "{mail.mysite.com:110/pop3/ssl}INBOX";
$user = "[e-mail]"; 
$pass = "password";

You're probably on shared hosting that doesn't allow you to use SSL connections. Contact your host and ask why you can't open an SSL connection.

Yeah but I can using my email on outlook, The Bat etc but non of these work, including POP3

Right.. probably because SSL is probably not configured and/or your host doesn't allow those connections to be made.

Can I test this anyway?

Well, first off, are you sure that the email server is the same as the webserver (since you're using 'localhost')? This often isn't the case.

If you are sure, and you're getting an 'SSL negotiation failed' then you simply need to contact your host, they should be able to explain your options.

well i've used the server address as well. still not luck
