I'm running all this locally using WAMP (windows xp), until I get my code working, and then I’m going to get a dedicated server with hostgator.
The error I’m getting appears as a windows dialogue box – and reports:
Title: Apache HTTP Server
Message: Apache HTTP Server has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
There are no error codes or anything.
The apache error log shows this…
This is just after I have started WAMP running –

Thanks again for your help sneakyimp – I didn’t even know about apache error log until your post – so I’ve got an idea now that its apache and not MING.
