php print with printer

hi, i got a system which generate reports and i need to print them. the problem is these reports are 2-3 pages long. i understand to print via client side, we need javascript??

if thats the case, how do i send my report info from php to javascript and print from there???

yeah you need javascript. you probably can't circumvent the print dialog anyway. take a look at the javascript print() function. that's what you'll need.
