Hi folks,

I am building an web-application where the user traverses through different pages right from the start. The problem is the back button! How do I navigate the user to the (particular) previous page 😕 ? I know a little about session management and cookies:queasy:.Please help me with some ideas and suggestions.

the back button uses the browsers history of pages visited, i don't understand the question.

I am sorry that I could not make the question clear to you.
In my first page where the user reaches after login, I have four links to four different pages. The user can go to any of those pages. And now I want that when the user clicks the back button of my page (and not of the browser ) the user should be navigated back to the correct page which he was previously viewing :evilgrin: .

I hope I could make it clear this time..Please help😕

Simplest way might be to just use JavaScript, e.g.:

<button onclick="javascript: history.go(-1)">Back to Previous Page</button>
