[RESOLVED] Running PHP without Safe mode enabled

Hi all,

Waht are the security risks running PHP without safe mode enabled.

I am running on a dedicated server, PHP 5.x

Advice on this subject would be helpful.

Safe mode is intended to try to address some of the security issues inherent in shared server environments. If you are running a dedicated host, then there is probably no advantage to using safe mode.
