[RESOLVED] Problems with php/GD on Apache2 Ubuntu 8.04

I have problems running the script below. My server's url is posted to the browser rather than the image. Other than with GD PHP works just fine. Any ideas how to fix this ?

What exactly are the problems and/or relevant PHP error/warning/etc. messages?

Thanks for your reply. Well I get no error messages. As I said I have a Ubuntu 8.04 server running Apache2 and PHP5 just fine.

PHP works ok running simple echo, loops, functions, etc wich I can view in the browser. But when I try to view the script above in Firefox3.0.10 or IE7 the actual image is not output to the browser. Instead my server url is displayed in the browser.

Strange ?

(I use putty to ssh into my server, and write the script there. And yes I use .php ending and correct start and end tags <?php ?>)

To be precise it outputs the following in the browser :

http://www.myhostname.com/test.php

Note the above is not my actual url, it's just to illustrate what the script does.

Solved. GD was not enabled. This worked for me :
