Ajax? I think....

So I think this has something to do with the ajax scripting and I am not sure how it would work. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

I want to make a drop down list (Without a submit button) to fill a div with content the drop down list would point to aka a url.

As you might now, Ajax is a technique in Javascript that could receive and handle data from other pages without having to reload the whole page. The jQuery framework has got some very good Ajax functions (link) which you should take a look at.
