mouseover creating pop up box

I have been searching for a way or a tutorial which would show me how to do the following: First, a cms user updates text files on a daily basis describing conditions at the local athletic facilities, i.e, golf, tennis, swimming, etc. I would like to have site visitors mouseover the menu and display the text from the respective file in a pop up box. On mouse out, it would hide the text. I do not want a pop up window requiring to click an exit button. Thanks in advance.

There is not a tutorial on every single possible requirement a user may want. Look for a suitable cms first, he other is just javascript which is easy to add to most of them.
