Upload Help

I am creating a website where you can upload things. I have created an uploading image and set it up at the beggining of the file the information is being submitted to but for some reason it doesn't appear until the file is already uploaded. Can someone help.

It's unclear what the problem is, or even what your trying to achieve.

Well it is hard to explain but anyway I figured it out but I had to use JavaScript ;P If it makes it anymore clear http://picblur.com/ upload a picture and the loading thing was what I was attempting to accomplish.
