Delete row in 2-dim array

Hi 🙂

1. what I have.
   I have an array $rows from my database.
   Numbered & sorted by ID-field

2. I want to DELETE 1 row (which is one array)
   and the array could be used/saved as if the deleted row never existed

3. What is the best way.

As I recall, I have to do 2 operations.
1. unset the row
2. fix the array

I just cant remember the exact code, php-functions,
I should best, most effective and fast be using.

until we have rewamped the array
