Creating an Array from another array.

Hi Guys,

I wonder if someone could kindly help me with a problem I have been having after hours of trying desperately to solve it for myself.

I have an array that is populated from another Array.

I use the array to output Hotels and there availabe rooms and prices (the array is sorted by hotelname and room price):

This is acheived in a for loop which checks the last hotel name and then writing the hotel name (if the first instance of the hotel) followed by the room and price. The following put is:

Bella Vista Hotel
Twin Room|451
Bella Vista Hotel All Inclusive
Twin Room|687
Calypso Hotel
Twin Room BB|607
Twin Seaview Room BB|733

I then want to create a new array with the hotel and rooms converted to a string in the following fashion:

Hotel Name¦1st room price (which hapens to be the cheapest)#room¦price~room¦price

So for Calypso Hotel, an array index would be created with the following vaue:

Calypso Hotel|607#Twin Room BB|607~Twin Seaview Room BB|733

I havent got the code to hand right now but i wonder if anyone could help me based on the description of the problem?
