How ot formulate a REGEX for this?

Let say i have an html codes below,

Line number On/Off | Expand/Contract

3. <head>
4. </head>

7. <h4>this is H4 heading one</h4>
8. <a href="domain.com">one</a>
9. <a href="domain.com">two</a>
10. <a href="domain.com">three</a>
11. <h4>this is H4 heading two</h4>

13. </html>
14.

What i want is to get all the link between H4 heading one and H4 heading two.

Can you show me the right REGEX syntax for this please.

are the anchors enclosed in anything like a div/span/table or any classes/id's to work with?

you can use regex but if theres more to the HTML itll be much easier to use DOM

well using DOM parses all the objects in a document... based on your specs you want a certain set of links... if they aren't contained in anything then the best you can do with don is to parse all the anchor tags and then specify 0-2 to get the first three...

theres not really a scraping tutorial but a manual for [man]dom[/man]

I'd be more than willing to write it for you but wanted to know if there was anymore to the HTML than what you posted (div, spans, classes, ids) surrounding those links

okay for example, let say i want to scrape this page below,

well the nice thing about craigslist is the rss feed:

http://newyork.craigslist.org/tlg/index.rss

take a look at that and see if that alone suits your needs, if not, then we can easily parse the xml using either the DOM functions or SimpleXML functions to get what your looking for
