how do I get the MIME type of a file

security is not an issue where I am so I'm happy to go off the extension of the file.

Does anyone have an array of something like this?

$mime['jpg']='image/jpg';
$mime['gif']='image/gif';
$mime['css']= ..
$mime['pdf']= ..

Of course if there was a more internal way to get the mime type, that would obviously be better. THANKS for helping me out.

You could also look at the PEAR MIME_Type package.
