PHP + SQL Loading VERY VERY SLOW

Hello.

I own a website, at which I wrote all the scripts from scratch such as the forums, account offense + appeal system, etc.

After about 15k registered users, I noticed that pages get slower and slower. The forums home page takes about a minute to load, and half the page is cut off.

I host it on a dedicated server, hosted by http://iweb.com.

there are a few million possibilities. 15k on a dedicated server is not hat many. I would guess some of your code is inefficient, as you wrote it you should be able to at least narrow down the slow parts with some benchmarking.

In this order:

Ask tech support the same question with some more detail. They should know their hardware better and could give a good guess (for ex.: RAM, gateway, connection, etc.). If not - you don't lose anything.
Disable all database logging if you have any, and most of server logs. They can produce total shutdown in time. Normally with the main server log it's more than enough in production environment. Do not forget to wipe the old ones out from time to time.
Check the application algorithms, maybe there some heavy parts that could be optimized.
