[RESOLVED] Get results where submit date is greater than 2 days old

Hi guys,

For the life of me i cant get this to work
I've tried

SELECT *
FROM `submissions`
WHERE `submitted` < 'DATE_SUB(NOW(), INTERVAL 2 DAY)'
AND `txn_id` =  'NULL'

But is till returns results submitted today.
The 'submitted' field type is set to datetime.

shouldnt you be using greater than not less than if you want posts greater than 2 days old

Returns zero results if i set to greater than.

What format is submitted?

Did you try replacing the term 'DATE_SUB(NOW(), INTERVAL 2 DAY)' with a date like '2009-06-17', just to see if that works as intended?

Try SELECT DATE_SUB(NOW(), INTERVAL 2 DAY) AS myDate, just to see if you are happy with the result and compare with the format of submitted.

WHERE `submitted` < DATE_SUB( NOW( ) , INTERVAL 2 DAY )
AND `txn_id` = 'NULL'

You can also get rid of the date_sub. This will work the same:

NOW() - INTERVAL 2 DAY
