Is anyone here using WordPress 2.8?

I'm doing some work for a client and I've installed wordpress 2.8. Everything on the front end looks great but the admin section is borked

Theres a thread on wordpress.org:

But nothing there suggested worked for me

Has anyone else ran into this and figured it out?

I'm still at 2.7.1, and judging by all the problems people are having in that link, I think I'll forgo upgrading for awhile. :rolleyes:

yeah you are probably better off for any client related stuff or if you use alot of plugins... luckily for the time being im managing what little content needs to change and we aren't using any plugins so I can deal with the mangled interface... just seems odd to release a final cut into the wild with an obvious problem like that

Thank the all-powerful-supernatural-being-of-your-choice that no software project I've ever worked on in the last 20 years has ever been released with a serious bug in it. :rolleyes:

Seriously, though, it sounds like their regression testing methods need improvement -- assuming they exist at all?

I haven't as of yet... I did a mass rename of the wp-admin folder to something else so I'm sure upgrading is going to be a PITA
