open_basedir preventing access. How do I work around?

I think I can allow this particular folder (secure_content) to be accessed by php, but I'm not sure how exactly. Suggestions?

See the manual page [man]ini.list[/man] for the open_basedir directive; it's a PHP_INI_SYSTEM directive, meaning you can only change it in php.ini or httpd.conf.

Contact your host for information on how to change this (or, if you already know how to get PHP to parse your own php.ini file, simply alter the directive in there).
