I was suggested to have updated software to avoid intruders and I am going backwards with php.
I suppose that new versions not necessarily mean better security, it would be new holes.
My present server is a Fedora8 php5.2.6
From 2003 I never have had intruders like this year.
So I am building a new server in my hosting co.: Centos 5.3
The problem is that the last php version in its repositories is 5.1.6
I've read about third-party repositories for newer php versions, and I also have read about lot of problems with them.
It seems like 5.1.6 php version is safer than the newer ones for Centos.
I am worrying about some commands I could be using in 5.2.6 that doesn't exist in 5.1.6
Where can I find a list of functions that have been added after 5.1.6?
Thank you in advance
Sorry, I was confused about the word "command" and "function"
Here it is.
