Does anyone have experience/ideas on how I can make a DB submission once someone has made a payment using paypal? So I do not want the Db entry to be made unless they first make a successful payment using paypal...

i believe you would use the callback function/link with paypal to redirect back to your site on success/failure
what version of paypal are you using (standard, payments pro, etc)
