[RESOLVED] Error 403 Forbidden Address Bar Return : /%3C?php=$_SERVER['PHP_SELF'];?>

When ever i am posting any message , like login or any data transfer through form an error is given :

403 Forbidden : Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /Project/new/< on this server.

Apache/1.3.33 Server at localhost Port 80

In Address Bar : http://localhost/Project/new/%3C?php=$_SERVER['PHP_SELF'];?>

I cannot solve the issue.

I have changed all the php tags from <? ?> to <?php ?> i have also tried with changing form action from

<form action="<?=$_SERVER['PHP_SELF'];?>" name="adminlogform" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="mode" value="Login">

<form action="<?php=$_SERVER['PHP_SELF'];?>" name="adminlogform" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="mode" value="Login">

But i am unable. Please help me out.

But Its working fine in web server. Its a problem in my local server. I am using WAMP 1.4.5 .
Server Configuration:

Apache version :Apache/1.3.33 (Win32)

PHP version :5.0.5 Loaded extensions :
bcmath, calendar, com_dotnet, ctype, ftp, iconv, odbc, pcre, session, SPL, SQLite, standard, tokenizer, zlib, libxml, dom, SimpleXML, wddx, xml, apache, mbstring, mysql, mysqli

MySQL version :5.0.15-nt

If i need to change to any configuration do help me with that too. Thanks.

Well for one, the '<?=' syntax is part of the short_tag syntax, something that's long since been deprecated. Essentially, you should never use '<?=' or '<?' when dealing with PHP code - always stick with the full '<?php' tag.

'<?php=' is something like a mix between the two (which doesn't exist, by the way); just use the full '<?php' tag with an [man]echo[/man] statement to output the variable.
