Hi Peoples,

Ive just uploaded a new PHP component library.

It has some demos in the "buzz/samples/", plus a CDemo class which shows most of what can be done and how todo it.

See what you think. Im currently working on a large project using Buzz and upgrading/fixing the API as I go.

If anyone is interested in adding their "cool php" to the library under the LGPL license, then pick a starting class file and add your code and your copyright notice to the top of the page.

Anything from simple questionnaires to complex controls are welome. Im currently porting some code I wrote for other projects to Buzz. A really cool MySQL dataset viewer with query searching is just one on the list.

Anyway, critique the code if you want.

Why not use a version control system, like mercurial or git, that are linked to in the wiki article or Subversion?

Instead of huge include_once lists that bloat up a project....try autoloading

This in turn requires to make one file per class - which I personally find a good way of arranging things anyway.

Have a look at PHPDocumentor great way of producing doumentation and getting infile documentation up to a great standard.

An UML overview to see how the components interoperate would be nice.

Very cool ideas. I am planing a PHPDocumentor doc when I fully document the system.

ATM, version control isn't an issue because Im looking for the "gold" design.

Buzz is close to a version 1 which will be stable. Should be in 1-2 weeks.

As far as "include_once"'s. Im currently using the Delphi for PHP IDE which understands the include's and hence gives nice Code Insight features.

If another method of doing things retains Code Insight then I'd use it.

I really appreciate your help. Sing out if you code up a cool Buzz control.

Version control is appropriate right from the very beginning. Even if everything is scrapped and started over or if it's just changing a typo in a comment, it's useful to have VC tracking it.
