I figured this would be exceedingly simple, but it's really got me stuck. I'm not a complete newb to PHP (though pretty close)... I'm familiar with PHP's date formatting, but my tinkering has yielded no result, so I turn to you, PHP Builder experts!
The Rundown:
I have a WordPress blog.
I have a landing page.
I'd like to have the headlines and excerpts from my blog show up on my landing page.
I got that far by using a copy-n-paste script that utilizes the WordPress's RSS feed, but it's not perfect, especially the date syntax.
Ideally, I'd like it to be like "Saturday, July 18th, 2009 at 3:47PM" instead of the

Where Have I Gone Wrong?
I would have thought the answer would lie in the "pubdate" tag above, where it includes familiar PHP date code... But tweaking that gets me nowhere.
