[RESOLVED] Text input and image output??

Hello, i am making a server status page and i am making it so that any one can have one...

so all i dont know whay to do is:

have a Inputbox with Submit button
and have a output box

so an E.G. is

<input type="text" name="ip" /><br>
<input type="submit" />

Server IP: |454.231.23.22 |

            SUBMIT!

then when you do that it comes out like this

heres your server status IMAGE:
http://www.mysite.com/status.php?ip=454.231.23.22

so yeh if you know how to do this please help me

i dont want the ip to be 454.231.23.22 i want it to be whatever you put in.

thats the thing i already know how to open the image and stuff but... i just need a text box and submit button then that opens a page then it comes out with

I might just be being dumb but doesn't $serverip need to equal the submitted text box value.

nah i worked it out my self

and $serverip does = $_POST['ip'];

but i worked this out a wile ago
