MyISAM table ORDER BY DESC returns no rows

Hi guys,
I have a major problem in mysql I hope you guys can help me out.
I have a MyISAM table which i running a simple query to get the list of records order by date. The query work just fine with ascending but if i try the same query with descending it retrun me 0 rows.

I look it up in the net as well and found that this issue has come for several other people as well.

Has anybody has this problem? Im using mysql 5.0.45. Is this is a bug??😕

But version 5.0.51a is old and several similar bugs were fixed since. Additionally I can
not repeat described behavior. Please upgrade to current version 5.0.83, try with it and
if problem still exists provide dump of the table.

What version where you running again?

Also, there was a possible fix in that short text, but I leave finding it to you.
