Script Help, IE ****s up

Hello i have a scrip that fakes the referrer and here is how it works

once you are on the site click "hyperlink" and if you get to google or yahoo click back button on browser and click the "hyperlink" again untill you come to a site called
www.whatismyreferrer.com

on firefox it manage to fake the referrer (http://souvik.com/test/site2.php) it will say
but on stupid IE the referrer is blank/ not shown and this really frustrate me what do you think is the problem?

Not every browser submits the Referer header, and IE may just be one of those browsers.

What are you trying to accomplish with the Referer header? Perhaps there's another way that may be easier and more reliable across all browsers.

its a script that works as following

if someone visit site2 and have another referrer than site1 the visitor will stay at site2 but if somone get referrerd to the site2 by site1 then site2 will redirect to a 3rd site.

site1 --> site2, if referrer site1 --> site3
