Do we have any real (and former) "Hippies" in the house??
Anyone who can LEGITIMATELY say they were at Woodstock for the original concert (i.e. Aug 15-17, 1969)??
Hard to believe that it has been 40 years, isn't it?!
I have been listening to, and recording, shows about Woodstock all weekend long. And captured some real live broadcast gems!! 
Come forward all you Hippies!!

P.S. And, nooooo, I was not a Hippe - I'm not THAT old!! LOL Although I am a "wannabe-Hippie"!! 
I'm not quite that old. (I would've been 2 months shy of my 13th birthday.) Anyway, at that time I was more into the Motown sound and really didn't listen much to most of the bands and artists who performed at Woodstock. I was listening mostly to the mighty CKLW out of Windsor, Canada, which is just across the river from Motown (Detroit) and broadcast at enough wattage that I could pick it up on my little transistor radio in northwest Ohio. I didn't really start listening much to what is now called "classic rock" until the mid '70s when I was in college (when I also discovered the world of jazz).
