How can you get partner links for a web site ? They do services for places like airports. They cannot use links to the airports because the entity wouldn't permit it as they only provide a service. This company gets government parking contracts.
The owner has community connections like this:
American Association of Airport Executives, the Airport Minority Advisory Council, San Francisco Parking Association, and the US Women's Chamber of Commerce. CAn we use links like these and would it help? Do you have to ask the entity itself for permission?
The client wants an animated intro (impact movie) with audio. The owner goes to conferences and talks to people and she wants to show them the impact movie. The thought is small movies capture peoples interest and maybe they will watch the intro later if they are interested in this company. They don't get lots of hits but those who do come are interested in a relationship down the road and it is a large contract. Personally I doubt if people will be watching this impact movie I think they will click out of it but this company caleld Angel Vision Tech which is a marketing company sold her on the idea. It is like a fancy power point presentation which has its place but not as a intro to a web site in my opinion.
They do have other parking services and these services could be marketed on the web so maybe more traffic about these services would outweigh the benefit of an impact movie.
My thought about this intro movie is if we do optimize for SEO the impact movie will detract from any traffic we pull in but would like to get feedback.
