sending messages to SMS service using PHP

I am doing a website for a towing company and want to have a page where the user enters his or her phone number (or their spouse) to send an SMS to their cell phone with the towing company's number and hours etc. - that way they can have the number on their phone for future use. Can anyone point me to some starting code or resources on the web for this?

Yes, there have been several threads in these forums on generating SMS messages.

find a sms provider in your region, you will either send an email to sms gateway or they will have a web api.
