Help Joing two Tables

I am new at this and I'm using phpMyAdmin to create tables.

I'm not sure how to join these two tables: directory and updates.
The field (file) in the directory table is the PK
The field (file) in the updates table is not

How can I create a one-to-may relationship between these two tables?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

IF you wish to create this relationship in the DB itself, You first need to define the tables to use the innoDB engine (if you didn't specified, they are using myIsam).
