I have seen this thing in numerous effects in well built UI of applications. When a small popup box appears or some small window appears after some mouse click or operation the background goes transparent and the buttons are disabled. What is the name of this of User Interaction and how do you it using PHP?? please help
I've never seen a name for it.
You can't do it with PHP. You must use CSS and Javascript.
technically a Modal window, but goggling lightbox and thickbox, may be simplest. And it is a js\css\html issue not a php one.
I think it's more correct to say it's a js/css/html issue.
