I am impressed by sites which carry short text descriptions and other elements of information, where you can click to "see more".
I can understand that it could be easy enough to do this by having a route from "see more" to another page which DOES give all the text from a database. But then, the only way to go back to the abbreviated information (presumably) would be via a "go back" process .... and if one used a Javascript process, could one end up being shuttled back & forth between these two pages for ever?
Or is there a "switch" function of some kind within PHP, that will allow me to give the page-reader the option to click to see more, click to see less, click to see more ... as they wish.
A page of php is not like the old fashioned Basic language, where you can embed go-to's in the script, is it?
