Make a copy of a table

Is there a way in PHPMYAdmin to take a production table and make a copy of it with a new name so I can play with it.

I have tried under the operations link but It keeps giving me an error but does not say what the error is.

I am trying to be lazy without making a new table, structure and then an select / insert for the data.

does the user have full privileges? I can do it in phpmyadmin, if its giving you an error then it must be saying something?
