[RESOLVED] Detect one button pressed from multiple

Hi all

I need to build a small shop which lists all products on one page each with a Buy Now button. I need to understand how I detect which 'Buy Now' button out of all of them is clicked in order for me to store the ID of that clicked product into my cart.

Is there any easy solution out there? I thought using a hidden field along side each Buy Now button would be the route but not sure how to implement it.

Can anyone offer any help or suggestions please?

Just see if the button was pressed with [man]isset/man. an unpressed button doesn't get defined as you can see with [man]print_r/man

Thanks for the advice but the page is dynamically created and therefore I can't hard code the detection of specific buttons.

Each button on screen will have to be indivudally named using the id of the database record.

<input type="submit" id="<?php echo $productid;?>" value="add to basket" />

Any ideas?

you could use an array to carry the product number.
