help with grouping my query

I am currently working on a query which looks like this

//3 rows
   Product     |      Store
  chocolate    |    Grocery A
  chocolate    |    Grocery B
  chocolate    |    Grocery C

Since all the store has chocolate what I want is to display in this format

//1 row
   Product    |      Store
 chocolate     |    Grocery A
              |    Grocery B
              |    Grocery C

Any idea on how can this be done? Sample code is much appreciated

Deal with it in your script language of choice, not SQL, since SQL will give you the first version.

$lastProduct = '';
while ($row = $mysqli->fetch_assoc()) {
	if ($row['product'] != $lastProduct) {
		echo '<br/><br/>';	// or however you deal with visual grouping
		echo $row['product'] . '<br/>';
		$lastProduct = $row['product'];
	}
	echo $row['store'] . '<br/>';
}

There are better ways to deal with visual grouping than dual brs. But most likely you wouldn't want it to start with 2 brs before the first product.
