MySql on server on different website how to connect and query

Hello all, thanks for reading my question.

I was wondering how to connect to a MySQL server that is located at another url.
For example I have two domains

The data base is on mydomain1.com and I want to connect to the data base and run queries from mydomain2.com
I control both domains but I use a standard web host resaler account but I've never had a reason to try to connect multiple domain to one domains MySQL server.

so I'm wondering if it can be down and how to go about it...thanks for any help

Do you mean you want PHP to connect to both databases at once, or PHP connect to database A, and then database A connect to database B? The first is easy, the second not quite so easy.

That is easy - if your web host allows it. Have a look at the db connection information. If it identifies the server using your hosted domain name then you will not be able to connect to it from another domain - probably. If it identifies the server using the host's domain then the same connection script should work from any of your own domains.
