Hah...interesting article. I like non-traditional solutions. I think my whole site is that way.
Anyway, my table is less then 5,000 rows so far. Also I use a class to run my queries and it allows me to cache the query, which I do for 24 hours, so the following hits are coming up pretty swiftly.
Thanks for the tip though, I'll get back to this article when I work on something that can't be cached.
