undefined index?

I've had a forum for a while now (SMF) and every once in a while it comes up with some strange errors. Lately, I'm getting this:

8: Undefined index: main_name
File: /home/wicksig8/public_html/forum1/Themes/default/Display.template.php (main sub template - eval?)
Line: 337

in threads where posts should be. The posts are fine because I can access them if I get to them thru a back door, but when trying to read threads the normal way, only three or four posts load and then that error comes up.

I know next to nothing about PHP so I'm kinda lost...

While this board is great for PHP self-help type of resources, I'm not sure it's the best choice for 3rd-party applications-specific questions like the one you have.

Since it appears as though the error originates from a file in the default theme, you should probably head on over the SMF's Support page and ask them; they would be more familiar with the product and can probably debug errors like this more easily.
