Namespaces

I'm trying to learn about namespaces and using them in PHP, this the information about them is poor and the examples rarely work.

If anyone could post a simple example (that works), just 2 PHP files is fine that shows how it works with some simple procedural programming, I'd appreciate it.

good reason for this, until php6 namespace support in php is well sucky and in 4 non existent

I'm using 5.3 now... It works in theory.
I think if I could get 1 or 2 working examples, I could have something to build off, but I can't even find that.
